A: It depends on what areas on which you would like to focus.

For example: If choose to participate in only # 8 Plank- Prevent Adverse Drug Events – then, the appropriate tool for benchmarking this particular area is SafetySurveillor™

For example: If choose to participate in only #9 Improve Care for Acute Myocardial Infarction- then, the appropriate tool for benchmarking this particular area is ClinicalAdvisor™

Q: If I am a current customer/client, and have the tools/products how do I enroll in the 5 Million Lives Campaign?
A: Joining the 5 Million Lives Campaign is free, and signing up is simple via the IHI website. If you were already enrolled in the 100,000 Lives Campaign you do not need to re-enroll, though you will have an opportunity to re-affirm your commitment in the first data submission period.

Q: If I am not a current customer/client, how do I become one and enroll in 5 Million Lives Campaign?
A: Premier recommends securing measurement tools to be able to participate in the Preventing 5 Millions Lives from Harm campaign – after all, “to prevent is to measure.” Contact the Premier Solutions Center to learn how to subscribe to the web-based performance improvement tools as an integral part in measuring and participating in the campaign. In addition, you should sign up for the campaign via the IHI website.

Q: Will my organization have a team/contact person within Premier that can assist in the process of installation and provide follow-up when necessary?
A: Premier provides full-service installation and expert level support - from installation to full customer support after implementation. Your organization also will have a client services executive to work directly with your executive team.
